Moose are a problem we have to continually deal with here in Alaska.  We are constantly asked the question "what shrubs or trees do moose not eat?"  The truth is, if moose are hungry enough, they will eat just about anything.

There are some plants however that have been known to be eaten less by moose:

Trees: Shrubs: Perennials:
Choke Cherries
Spruce

Peashrub
Cotoneaster
Potentilla
Alpine Currant
Spirea
Forsythia

Day-lilies
Iris
Bleeding Heart
Astilbe

Moose will go just about anywhere to eat just about anything
